Qasr-e Bahram Caravansary is located in Kavir National Park, some 154 kilometers south of the Iranian capital, Tehran (Kashan). The historical edifice is one of the most important structures of its kind, believed to have been built during the Safavid dynasty (1501-1736). Historians believe the caravansary was used by Safavid kings during the hunting season and when traveling to the northern regions of Iran.
